Signature Card Account

The Signature Card is a debit account, utilizing the university ID Card. Nearly all retail outlets on campus accept the Signature Card, including Dining Services, vending machines, the BYU Bookstore, WSC retail operations, copy centers, designated copy machines, ticket offices and computer labs.  BYU Financial account payments, such as tuition, bus pass, or health insurance, may NOT be paid by Signature Card.

To check your account balance log into Route Y and select the Signature Card and Meal Plan link under the Miscellaneous drop-down menu.

Your current balance and most recent activity will appear in the center of the screen on the new webpage.  You can make a deposit, view past monthly statements, and purchase a meal plan by selecting the respective links from the Navigate menu on the left.  Under the Personalize menu on the right, you can set up automatic deposits to your Signature Card, declare your card lost or found, and request an automatic email notification when your balance gets low.

Friends and family can deposit money to your Signature Card by using Quick Pay.  The Quick Pay page also has instructions on how students can make deposits online thru Route Y.

Deposits and balance inquiries are also available at most locations displaying the Signature Card logo.

Students living On Campus

Residents of the on-campus living areas can use their Signature Card in most laundry facilities and are eligible for a discounted rate. Residents are automatically set up for the discount once they have completed the housing check-in.  For questions regarding the laundry discount, contact the Helaman (801-422-2034), Wymount (801-422-2549), or Wyview (801-422-9203) office.  It is the student's responsibility to monitor transactions and make sure charges are correct.  Incorrect charge refunds may be requested for up to thirty days by contacting the Signature Card ID Center (801-422-3866).

(Students living off-campus are not eligible to use on-campus laundry facilities).

Meal Plans

Off-campus residents may purchase a meal plan online thru Route Y.  Meal plans are contracted thru Dining Services, please be sure to read the meal plan terms and conditions.

On-campus residents should contact the Campus Accommodations office at (801)422-2611 with questions or changes to their meal plan accounts.
