On-campus students should visit the On-Campus Housing Home Page to change meal plans.  For further assistance contact Campus Accommodations at 801-422-6944.

Spouse ID Cards

Spouses and dependents (ages 12-30) of all full-time and some part-time BYU students and employees are eligible for a BYU ID card. All spouses and dependents must meet dress and grooming standards to receive an ID card.

Before receiving a card the spouse or dependent must be electronically linked by relationship to the student or employee. To check your spouse and dependent relationships, log in to Route Y and select the Personal Information link under the Communication menu.  Then select the Relationships link.

To create a link to a student, the student and spouse or dependent need to visit the Records Office, B-150 ASB (801-422-2631) with photo ID.  Student spouses should also take their marriage certificate.  Employee spouses and dependents need to visit the Benefits Office, D-240A ASB (801-422-4716) with photo ID.

Once the spouse or dependent has been electronically linked to the student or employee in Route Y they can visit the ID Center and receive an ID card.  It may take several days for the link to appear in Route Y.  When visiting the ID Center, please bring your ID number or netID and photo identification.  ID cards can only be issued to the card holder.

The ID Center does not issue athletic facility, library checkout, or bookstore discount privileges (employees).  For athletic facility privileges please visit 112 of the Richards Building.  For library privileges please visit 3443 of the Harold B. Lee Library. For bookstore discount privileges please visit the Bookstore accounting desk, 3970 WSC.

The ID card is not an alumni membership card.  Contact the Alumni House at 1-877-827-2218 to request an alumni membership card.

Courtesy Cards

Courtesy cards are available for visitors to campus who want to use services requiring a Signature Card account. The Signature Card ID Center sells courtesy cards for $1.00 with a starting balance of $.50 on the card. Courtesy cards are accepted at all locations displaying the BYU Signature Card logo. They have a balance limit of $100.00. Payments may be made at all clerk locations displaying the BYU Signature Card logo.

There are no cash refunds on courtesy cards and accounts inactive for more than one year will be closed. BYU is not responsible for any unauthorized use of the card; replacement of lost or stolen cards; or the refunding of unused balances of lost or misplaced cards. BYU reserves the right to deny service for any or all off-line transactions.

Courtesy cards can also be purchased at Campus Systems Value Terminals (CSVT) located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Harold B. Lee Library.

Specialized Cards

We encourage departments to use the BYU ID card whenever possible. We can provide specialized plastic sleeves to be worn which hold the BYU ID card and will provide more information about your area.

In the event that it is necessary to create a specialized card, there will be a one time setup fee of $199.00 to design the card and a $1.50 charge per card issued.

If you are interested in a specialized sleeve or card, please contact the Signature Card ID Center 801-422-3866.
